This chapter was fantastic. Like I said before, I'm not really hating on Rich because he seems more like a babysitter... though I did notice his hands on her shoulders bit when he was checking that tan.
And yes, if I hadn't been conciously making an effort to not flip out, all that stuff with Sergio with his pervy eyes and oily hands all over Annie would probably have had me embarrassing myself with more antics.
Though to be fair, I completely understood Annie's motivation in wanting to sleep with him. I'm not really sure of anything specific off the top of my head but at least compared to Rich he has a bad boy vibe. And Annie was trying to move on.
One last thing. Just... wow, you are so good at writing. Your descriptions and the way you use words is amazing. You really know how to use them to create images. Awesome work.
Now I'm going to go sulks some more and think of some desperate way I can get revenge.

I am happy that you aren't hating Rich, even if you are hating Sergio a little bit. You are being awfully mature about this whole thing, but if you can keep a secret just between us, you can probably stay calm.
I think that is the nicest most straight-forward thing anyone has ever said about my writing. This is nowhere near my field of actual work and I usually feel really insecure about a lot of it, so to have someone of your talent level compliment me is really amazing.

Namely because I was never even slightly offended.
I'm actually sorry if you took my little statements about feeling violated and sulking too seriously. I meant them to be tongue in cheek. My actual reaction to finding out that you completely baited and hooked me was to laugh out loud. Because... yeah, you really did get me there.
So please no apologies because that was awesome.
Also don't tell me secrets about the story! I know that I've flipped out over some of the chapters but that's partially me being purposely over the top. Truth of the matter is that I love the tension, the cliffhangers, and the suspense of this story. Which is why I stopped actively speculating on it. I like that I don't know if Annie might sleep with Rich or Sergio. In fact when I was reading this chapter, part of me really wondered if that was going to happen. That's a credit to your story telling ability because I'm usually a step ahead of most stories.
And yeah, if Annie had slept with Sergio. Oh boy, screw maturity, you'd still be reading my rant! ;)
So we're totally still friends and you can guinea pig me all you like (that was a weird sentence). Also, next time I feel the need to have a Jeff-like reaction, I won't hold back like I did in this chapter. I'd hate to deprive you of it. ;)

I actually have been using your reactions to things as research, no joke. It's slightly muse-like without all the creepy implications.
Actually, Annie is going to sleep with Kevin the skeevy neighbor. So there's something to look forward to ranting over.

I already thought Jeff was gonna sleep with Camilla so I guess that's fair ;)
Man I have to so tone down my tongue in cheek on the Internet because I'm afraid to be taken in the wrong way, I mean in life like my every other sentence is ironic or sarcastic but you can never be too careful on-line XD
