Haha, Red is so entertaining "When my time comes I want to be buried face down so that anybody who doesn't like me can kiss my ass" *gg* And that was a hilarious episode.

Of course, I'm still interested, I just said so, didn't I? To be honest I like slow pacing much better than quicksand writing action when I can barely keep up with what's happening (I really don't read fanfic for the plot, I read it for character stuff and shippy stuff, and laughs when proper), I like to dwell on things and observations and feelings and details and I love subtlety and the way you find so many ways to express something without actually spelling it out loud, ultimate show not tell, your writing is so layered and I enjoy peeling all of the layers while getting to the meaning (you can't take a propensity to analyse text even for pleasure out of a linguist, I need to get my kicks somewhere *gg*) So yeah, no complaints from me (except I wish I had a billion dollars so I'd pay you quit your day job and write fanfic for a living *gg*)

If I've figured correctly, this should wrap up about 2 weeks before the season premiere.
Wow, so the fic will actually be posted all through the summer? (I thought it would be shorter, maybe) That's good to know, something to look forward to for the rest of the summer :D

Yeah, Jeff even manages to be a selfish prick when he's being noble.
Exactly, gosh, life screw him up real bad. By trying to avoid hurting Annie in the future he manages to hurt her IN THE PRESENT. *eyeroll*

Also, ooh, I saw other comments, I'm excited that you are going to tap deeper into his inner demons, I'd love to get into his head some more *gg*

Jeff has got some crazy troll logic sometimes. Like by being a good guy, he's just f***ing himself over. I kind of wish you had a billion dollars so you could pay me to write too. I could work and write AND sleep then.

I definitely don't write quick. I like to let moments breathe rather than rushing thriough them to get to something else. Half the time when a character isn't speaking or moving, you can learn more than in they were monologuing. This is especially true for Jeff, who always speaks without saying anything.

YES, I think it's because he has a very misguided idea about what it is to be a good guy, he thinks being a good guy is denying himself what he wants and he needs to know that you can have what you want and be a good guy, all you have to do is treat what you want well ;) By wanting her to be happy and deciding for her and himself that he's not the guy to make her happy he makes them both miserable, so basically what he does has the opposite result of his intentions, someone really needs to beat some sense into that lost lamb's head *shakes head*

Heh, when I have to choose between sleep and fandom, fandom always wins (well, sometimes cramming for exams wins) *gg* (I'd been a part of Internet-fandoms for 3 years now, haven't gone to bed before 2am ever since XD)

YES, and what's more, when he opens his mouth 9 times out of 10 A LIE COMES OUT, but his body doesn't lie and his subconscious too, the way he overreacts and saves Annie from non-existent danger, for example, is a dead giveaway, or the way, like a wise woman put it, "he cuddles Annie with his eyes" sometimes and how their bodies just seem to gallivate towards each other when they are standing/sitting close by*gg*
I really love how you always capture even little nuances and changes in Jeff's expressions/gestures/demeanour, this way we get nearly more truth about his state when it's someone else's POV rather than his (because he lies to himself inside his head a lot) You are so great at painting that emotional picture (like a picture and an emotion wrapped in one, impressionism is probably a good way to describe it), maybe that's why your fanfic and passages from it just lingers in my brain, because it's not just good way with words, it makes me sense and feel.
