It was rather windy yesterday and not as warm as I'd hoped, but spring is definitely in the air and it was nice to take a walk through the park, even if there wasn't an empty swing to be found. =)
I always feel more cheerful after Daylight Savings Time begins and there is more sunshine streaming through the windows in the evening.
On Saturday I was driving west and noticed that the sky wasn't blue anymore, and the clouds were darker, but unlike when there's a cloud cover, the sun was still shining. It was like someone had held a giant umbrella over the city and everything seemed to stand out against the sky so much sharper. I can't remember the last time I'd seen the sky like that - it was breathtaking.
It's a shame that it's going to rain for the next three days, with a chance of snow on Wednesday, but I'm not surprised to see the April showers making their first appearance.
On fandom related notes, I finally saw the Corpse Bride, and during the skeleton song and dance number, all I could think was "Kohi!"
I'm also noticing that it seems, at least from the stories I've been reading, that most Harry/Draco authors like to include Seamus Finnigan as out of the closet and having the hots for Harry. I wonder if I'm in the minority of those who would prefer to see the road to getting together between the characters I'm interested in have fewer detours with other characters along the way.
penguin88 - I finished reading Draco Malfoy and the Tome of Entrapment, and I liked it a lot! Thank you so much for the rec!
