Static electricity

I don't know what it is about this winter, but everything is significantly more staticky than I'm used to it being, including in the winter. It's bad enough when my clothes stick to me and my blankets give me shocks, but when my hair reaches for everything I pass by and sometimes looks like I just stuck my hand in a socket, I get *very* unhappy. *

I've noticed the static too, especially when wearing my winter coat. Without fail, every time I close the passenger door on my parents' cars, I get shocked like a bitch. o.O Well, not really really hard, but hard enough that it gets very annoying after feeling it multiple times. And I'm getting shocked by light switches more easily too. Guess it really is just that dry in this stupid province right now.

Yeah, my hair is poofy enough as it is. It doesn't need to be encouraged to stand up more by shocks and static. ^^;

Haha, static electricity is Ralph Klein's fault, just like gay marriage and marijuana. *LOL* (You don't happen to ever watch the Rick Mercer Report, do you? If you don't, that was a joke on there...;P)

I used to watch the Monday Report, but now I always miss the new Rick Mercer Report. No matter how much I keep telling myself I won't miss the next episode, it passes me by without fail. ^^; Anyway, I didn't mean Klein's responsible for the static, just alluding to the fact that a lot of what's stupid about this province has been influenced by him. X3;
