I am glad that those who adapted Tolkien for the LoTR musical decided not to use the songs from the book. Actually it is not a bad adaptation. Gollum, for example, is really well done and the Balrog is the greatest thing since even unsliced bread.
Though I don't like that they cut out Rohan entirely, and left Shelob in. I don't like having to look away for an entire scene :-(
On an entirely different note, why is it that in reality 'take it like a man' seems to mean 'whinge and whine and attempt puppy-dog eyes'?
