You know Mara... I agree with you. I too felt she was getting sloppy. I love how you are writing what could easily be deleted scenes within the episode but still have your own special touch. This was beautiful and my heart broke in all the right ways.

Well it seems that when anyone on the show wants to kill Arthur they get sloppy, but yeah. I think it's her heart too keeping her from hurting him terribly. She did poison him and so she succeeded there, but I see bits of turmoil in her.

Thank you so much. <3

It's a bit challenging getting enough balance between her resolve to follow Morgana's way and her love for her husband. So glad that worked.

ooh...and it was hot, nice, lol.

Thanks so much! <3

I just love how you showed how conflicted Gwen was with her wanting to kill Arthur yet bring in love with him.

Guh, if only you wrote for the show!

Glad the conflict worked because a bit challenging to achieve.

Thank you so much! <3

This is such a masterpiece, Mara! I love the way you described the conflict within Gwen, the Arwen intimacy and the way she debates back and forth with herself. Love it!

That was beautiful. I haven't been able to enjoy the Arwen scenes with enchanted Gwen because she's deceiving Arthur and my poor baby is clueless (I'm a bit protective of Arthur). But this was brilliant. It would have been clever for the show to have Gwen a bit conflicted, having the "real" Gwen try to peek through from time to time like you've shown us here.

Too clever for them, unfortunately.

Yeah, I can be a bit protective of Arthur too. He was the reason I started watching the show. And the enchantment is a bit hard to watch for me, but I think the way Angel plays it I honestly never doubt her love for her husband. It's deep in her heart.

So I guess the writers didn't really put it in, but I think Angel shows it from time to time.

Anyway thank you for the lovely compliments. Means a lot coming from a great writer like you. <3

Added Note: I loved your 'Silk' entry for AG fics. So glad it won first!

Thanks, I really enjoy your work, too.

And while I didn't enjoy the enchanted Gwen storyline (now thankfully over and likely completely forgotten by ep 11 at the latest, going by how this show operates), I think Angel was bloody brilliant at it. I have no time for Katie, I think she's terrible and one-dimensional as a villain.

Glad we have our queen back now!

I think Katie actually did a little better this time in that scene with Alex, but oh yes, she's just too one dimensional for me most of the time. I don't feel range from her as a villain. And that's the kind of villain I like most. That's exciting to me when I care about the villain as much as can't stand them for what they're doing to others.

Oh and agree, glad to have Gwen free from Morgana's enchantment.
