Being a tutor isn't as cushy as I thought it would be. Amongst other things, I need to learn how to stop the really talkative students from dominating and taking over the whole time, and how to draw out the really quiet ones from hiding under the radar. The majority of students do their prep before coming to class, which is a nice surprise. Most of my class when I was an undergrad, including me, were never that enthusiastic.
