I understand the lure of getting stuck into the technology, but there are so many unanswered questions that talking tech now is like getting pregnant and then fussing over making a restaurant booking for the child's 21st birthday.

Heck, there are too many un*asked* questions at this point.

But sure, it's fun to geek out. I do it too.

Honestly, this originally had nothing to do with elsejournal. I've been doing it for a while for other reasons, and 'Song mentioned elsejournal to me.

Because what's happened to LJ could potentially happen to this "EJ" you're creating - as in, it becomes successful and you can no longer keep up with demand unless you find a way to generate revenue in order to pay people to actually work on the project as opposed to doing it for free in their spare time.

Better to address the "business" side of things right from the get-go.

I have an odd suggestion - maybe make a wiki for this at pbwiki, so that questions can be listed, and answered when possible?

Of course, I love pbwiki.
