Random thoughts from an art students twisted mind:
-Went home this past weekend due to the long holiday weekend. Here's a rundown:
1)Had class on Friday from 8:30-9:30, went to my apartment, packed, then headed home. A very boring ride home.
2)Went to a few garage sales in Marine City looking for a couch. No success. I was tired, irritable, and in need of a shower.
3)Ended up staying home friday night to please my parents. What did we end up doing? Basically arguing for 3 hours. After our debate, I tried to get my dad to watch "The Fellowship of the Ring", but to no avail because he doesn't know how to keep to his word.
4)Saturday I spent pretty much the whole day with the rents cleaning out and sorting our garage. It's about damn time we started something like that. It seems like we got the addition to ADD more shit in.
5)Saturday night I hung out with CJ, Matt, Ryan, and Josh and had a really good time. Not gonna go into the specifics, but we all had a few good laughs for old times sake, and I got to see a girl I graduated with. More or less.
6)Sunday was Denise Thomas' 50th birthday part. Overall I had a great time, as I really like his parents. Went home around 5 or so to pack some essentials to take back (my guitar, hangers, more movies, etc), then I hung out with a girl I met, Brandy. Overall, it was fun, and we had a good chat. I took her home, then went back to Jason's house for a bit to say good-byes, and to me it was harder saying good-bye then, than it was a week ago.
7)Drove back to the GnR, unpacked, and relaxed. Treated myself to a few episodes of Reno 911 and called it a night.
Sorry to those who I haven't talked to lately. I'm still trying to sort things out here, but feel free to call me any time after 9.
A few other thoughts:
-Yesterday I went grocery shopping by myself for the first time. Not too shabby. I know the value of the almighty dollar, so here's what i got: Milk (1 gallon), orange juice, ham, cheese, Kudos, chips, baby carrots, hot pockets, and Oreos (double stuffed, bitches).
-I kick unholy ass.
-I'm gonna grow my hair out. Not that I necessarily want to, but I won't be able to afford it every 4 weeks or so. It could make a good x-mas present though...
-Foo Fighters/Weezer. I MUST go.
-Slipknot. I MUST go.
-That's about it.
