Behold, my birthday present ... to myself! (Four more days! Remember to mark it down, people! I like exclamation marks!)
I bought it after lunch with Sis #2 today. To echo the sentiment I made about it in seanachais's post about the watch collection, I fell in love with it the moment I saw it in 8 DAYS. How could I not? Besides the fact that it's inspired by one of the most bad-ass motherfucker villains to ever grace the silver screen, and whom I love, it's just so sleek and beautiful, with its card theme and intricate Art Nouveau-style décor engraved around the face of the watch. The other watches simply paled in comparison when I went to take a look. (For the record, the Mr Wint and Mr Kidd [Diamonds Are Forever]-inspired watch doesn't look too good in real life. The leather strap looked worn and to a certain extent, cheap, but it could just be the model unit ...)
Lastly, I need help in locating a snake charmer - in Singapore, of course. I know there's often one along the Singapore River, but I need alternatives in case there isn't one there when I go scouting tomorrow. Aide, s'il vous plaît?
