senseless venting; my apologies
I hate my crossgen fic. I hate it. And I'm saying this all in a stupid petulant childish tone and I hate that too, and I'm emotionally overwrought enough as it is without the younger of my characters going, "Ew, that person is old," and the older going, "Ew, that person is of entirely the wrong gender," and I hate hate hate this stupid fic, because it sucks and I hate it.

Okay. That helped. Sorry about that. RL is very fucked at the moment, and the fic isn't helping. (Although my eternal love belongs to oruhamiko for finding exactly the oath I needed; I have no idea how she managed it, but she is a genius and should eventually be canonized.)
