Legend of the Galactic Heroes 11 & 12
I really have to mention that I really like the OP when it's an Empire episode, Engrish singing notwithstanding; it's so melodramatic and really highlights the difference between the two nations.
Anyway...
Episode 11 The Actress Exits
More intrigue in the Imperial arena, with crazy former mistress trying to call Anna, Reinhard's sister. It's pretty much an indicator of the sort of society that exists in the Empire.
Episode 12 The Imperial Invasion Plan
Back to the Alliance, we see preparations for an invasion attempt, which by all indications is going to end badly - you can see all the foreshadowing happening on the screen. ^_^
One of the things I love about this series is the humanity of it; good and bad people on both sides with equal amounts of idiocy; a fact which this episode highlights.
Next time, another Empire episode.
