Hola Amigos,
Been busy lately. Rehearsal's moving along for Midsummer - I play Demetrius, an amiable manwhore. In the effort to make my livejournal entries more exciting (By suggestion of erica, I have included the following cleverly marketed subjects)

*POPERY*
*WHISKEY*
*WOMANS*
That's right, when you put them together, you spell T-h-e-a-t-r-e C-o-m-p-a-n-y. It also spells Reilly, when you rearrange the letters and drop a few more.
anyway...
If the Dean of the College of Visual and Performing Arts puts his leg onto you, the most appropriate responses (survey said): Ignore the Fellow, followed by Punch him in the Face.
To the former I hypothesize that ignoring him would make him resort to more drastic measures of getting my attention, such as putting his leg on my face, or giving me an arm pit noogie. For the latter action, Punching him in the Face would potentially escalate into a session of dean-fighting, inevitably resulting in myself suffering several clarinet blows to the face.
But, what is the sound of one Dean laughing?
I also hypothesize that the fundamental difference in "values" expressed by the majority of the country is due the progression of some areas (West Coast, Northeast) into post-christian society (similar to Europe, where christianity remains a dominant religion but not a political force) over the traditionally Christian heartland. While we're several decades behind Europe in this development, it seems hopeful that in the next century the rest of the country should experience a similar shift.
And finally, I think my goal is to get published in a professional Business Journal before I graduate. Maybe I'll become a gigolo, and then write about it. I smell Nobel prize.
