Die Zeit der Änderung ist nahe!
Finally got a new desktop computer yesterday, 3.0Ghz Intel P4, 200 GB HD, 1 Ghz RAM, 17" Lcd Monitor, also the first Dvd player I've ever owned. Muy Cool. The other computer was ok, but I had to shake the hard drive every few minutes to keep it running. Sort of like an Old Man who just wants to lapse into a coma, but his grandchildren keep hopping on his lap and shoving pickles in his nose.
My flight leaves at 615p Friday for Germany, via Amsterdam (Am-stah-dam! (which I assure you will be my first word off the plane)). Got packed, ready for an intensive four weeks of studying the Maastricht treaty, European Constitution, and the intricacies of the European banking system at Goethe Universitat in Frankfurt-am-Main (Mainhatten, to some Germans).
Then I'm taking a three week Eurail experience, which will be cooler if I can finagle some people to go, lasting until the 30th or so. Come on, you know you want to come.
