The Waiting Game...and possibly a Sailor Mars?
The wait for Queen Beryl: Day 56
So...yeah. Haven't posted anything in awhile. A really long while considering I was apparently still waiting for Serenity on my last post ^_^;
So yeah, doll plans ended up getting put to the side as life took over. I have, since the last time I posted, been the intern assistant manager at a clothing store, third key at the same clothing store and then decided to quit and go back to school. Hasn't exactly left a lot of time and money for dolls.
But Angell-Studio had to release a gorgious limited doll that I could not pass up and so, in January, I order the You Victoria fullset to be my Queen Berly. I had never had any plans to do a Queen Beryl, but she's just too perfect a fit to pass up and I really did fall in love with her. ^_^
Since I got Beryl, I figured that would be it until the fall when I would hopefully have some more money to get another doll...either the Angell-Studio Michael to be my Zoisite or the Angell-Studio David for my Jadeite...I was having trouble narrowing it down.
But my tax returned ended up being really good and there's currently a Feeple65 Siean (the doll I had planned to be Sailor Mars) on the DOA marketplace. I'm still in talks with the current owner about it since she's apparently a modded sleeping head and her neck has been moded to not take the key. So I'm not 100% sure that I'll end up buying her, depends on the pictures she sends me. But I'm like 80% sure.
So if I end up getting Siean, that means my doll plans for the next three dolls after that are set. It'll be Jadeite, then Zoisitie and then Ami, the Angell-Studio Anna.
I'm just playing a waiting game right now. Waiting for Beryl to ship and waiting to the lady with Siean to get back to me with those photos. I need to start sending PMs to people about commissing some clothes for Rei and also a faceup for her and possibly a redo for Serena, but I can't do that until I know for sure that I'm buying her.
And if I am buying her, I have to wait at least two weeks before I can pay her off and then another two or three before she gets here...so at least a month...not sure if Berly will show up before that or not.
Ugh, I hate waiting :(
