Lately I've been taking a "semi-break" from FFXI. I feel incredibly burnt out on it again and short on patience for dealing with players that aggrivate me on a regular. So in my absence I've picked up playing LotRo again, which I played for 3months then quit back at the end of July. Perhaps it isn't the best time to lessen my FFXI time with the new expansion and all but its been a fun break from the constant repetition of FF online
.
Reactivated my main account 3 days ago or so, and I worked hard to get to level 40. Various quests and an occasional exp grind on mobs and it finally paid off! I also got my Prospector to Grand Master (thats the highest level of that particular craft for those that dont play) in the process.
I think it was something like 100k xp to gain the full level. It actually went much faster than I expected. Now if only i could get out of this crappy looking armor already lol. (My game graphics are turned down pretty low due to a crappy PC, so the Screenie is poor quality)
I guess its time to start working hard on stats. After leveling I took a serious look at them and realized its way below what I want/need. I'd like to bring my Might up to around 400~450 and my Agility up above 300. I think I'll get to see some major gear changes around level 42. *hopes*
Here are some random screenshots. Once again, my pc sucks, and I used Microsoft Paint on all of them lol, so meh.. sorry for the quality. The game looks 10X better than my screenies do lol.

Heatherj playing lotro! Old pic though lol, she hit 30Hunter today. Grats!
Theres been a ton of fun Instance quests in this game, all with great story to accompany them. However, I have found a favorite, and I tag along any time someone needs help with it, because its alot of fucking fun.
Tomb of Elendil instance: Basically you walk through a long ass dungeon, fighting tons and tons of mobs, all increasing in difficulty as you progress through the area. In the end there's a kick ass boss fight, which I think was fun for me for 2 major reasons. 1) First huge ass boss I've fought in LotRo(that I can remember lol) and 2) It's Aspi!
See!
Anyways, its really only difficult the first time you do it, but i still have a great time on it, especially with groups of first timers.
I've never really quite gotten the hang of quality video with fraps so I just picked a random one from Youtube.

German I guess? I thought the music they used was a good choice, so I picked this over the NA one. Good times.
Don't worry though, as soon as I get this Fraps stuff down, I'll be sure to jam "Oh Canada" on my lute in honor of BtL.
