did you guys know the dudes who did "still tippin'" and "sittin sidewayz" are from austin? they have a record store in luling, they graduated from reagan in '91. why did i not try to meet them last fall? oh well.
i won't really be home for any appreciable length of time for about a year, but hopefully i can try to hang out with them then
i really hope i get to work for quannum in some capacity, even if it is just moving boxes or whatever. you know that scene in kill bill where uma thurman walks up like 90 flights of steps and finds the old chinese dude sitting on a rock or some shit, just ignoring her? that's what i picture the Bay to be like except that's DJ shadow
