I think my boss is stealing...

Let me rephrase that, I know he is stealing, he is always eating stuff off of the roller grill, and hot food case, without paying for it, all in direct violation of 7-Eleven's corporate policy, and when I multi scan product in the back room, count out a full case of candy bars, and go back later to fill product to the shelf, and the case is open, and there is product missing from it, and I know full well I didn't take it, and the only other person who has been back there is him, I know what is going on.

However...

Earlier this week, the assistant manager came to me asking about an empty drop envelope she found in the safe. Again, I know, full well, I didn't take anything, and I told her that. I even asked to see the video surveillance footage, and it clearly showed me putting the cash into the envelope and dropping it into the safe. Within a few minutes, the manager was digging through the safe.. Now, suddenly, her deposit is short..

A week before the first shift, it just so happens, I was on that day too, came up short, over a hundred bucks. Manager man said "Oh, we'll just blame it on (Employee name withheld) because we're terminating him anyway.

This week, the instance with the missing money from the drop envelope, came on the same day he did several other things that would screw with the safe count, and I can't help but wonder if he did, or didn't, do his job properly, to try and cover his tracks, and make it more difficult for the assistant manager to pin down what was going on...

When you've got shrink and cash control problems that follow a manager from store to store, maybe stop looking at the employees at these stores, and take a harder look at the management.
