I can’t believe I’m actually admitting to this-but I did some translations, and I thought I’d share them with you. (…please be kind. ^_^;;;; *hides in the corner*)

And here is an amusing story about translating this:
So I wrote up an initial translation to the “Brown Sugar” story, and, worried that I might be going in a totally wrong direction with it, I took the doujin to my new Japanese teacher and asked her about it.
My teacher: *reads* Wow, it’s been years since I read something like this… let’s see… *mutters to herself*
Me: *thinking: Oh shit, I forgot-!*
My teacher: *gets to the picture of Ed and Al kissing* o_O
Me: *thinking: Oooooh shit-!*
My teacher: Ooooh! *starts laughing*
Me: Um… what’s up…? ^_^;;
My teacher: Well, it’s just… for a minute there, I thought they were brothers!
Me: …..
My teacher: Because of this kanji here, I mean… oh, let me explain. Sometimes, in Japan, people who aren’t related to each other call one another brother or sister. Like people here call each other “ma’am” or “mister”? ^_^
Me: Eh heh… yeah… I get it now… ^_^;;; *thinking: SAVED ONCE AGAIN BY JAPANESE CULTURE! YATTA! XD*
Also, I have a challenge for all you AMV makers-let’s see some Movie!Elricest goodness to the song “Starts With Goodbye” by Carrie Underwood. (Ooo, that song makes me cry!)
