I somehow got simultaneously pummeled by completely opposite emotions on viewing this - in a way, it's extremely silly (particularly with Winry's, err, misinterpretation on what she's hearing) but it's also rather sad considering what we know is going to happen to them later in life.
Of course, there's the whole 'omg, society says incest is wrong and therefore I'm a monster' that seems to be a prevalent part of Elricest, but there's also the whole pending situation of Ed's automail and Al's armor... which, given the text you selected for this page, makes me think that they both might look back on this later and question whether they're being punished for it.
*cough* Sorry, got a little long-winded when I originally meant to say 'ooo, pretty!' while pretending I wasn't actually admiring shota. >_>;; But damn if you didn't draw something thought-provoking! I'm also mildly curious how they plan on making it back to the house undetected, considering they've apparently flung each other's clothing into next week. XD
Snark! *plothole* It was the horrible monster that ate their clothes! And they shall alchemize some new clothes! Yes, that's it....-_-
I'm so happy you noticed the "monster" guilt-trip reference, that was my initial goal before deciding to traumatize Winry. I shower you with much love!
Well, it's not -really- a plothole... see, I'm sure their clothing is hanging off a nearby bush, just out of view. Although it would be highly entertaining to see them alchemize new clothing out of nearby foliage.
Trisha: "What on earth are you boys wearing?!" Ed, Al: *with a little too much enthusiasm* "A monster ate our clothes!" Trisha: "..."
Elricest isn't Elricest without some good old angst, even and sometimes especially if it's of the humorous variety.
