I know what you mean as well. I finished my first multi-chaptered FMA story- Elricest, of course- a couple months ago and started on the next one, a three-part Elricest story I affectionately call "Overload", and yet I can't seem to get past the first chapter. I even started another story which features a whole bunch of pairings, including one-sided Ed/Al, RoyEd, one-sided Roy/Riza, Roy/Gracia, Al/Winry, and possibly a little Roy/Hughes.
A little insane and something that is diverting my attention from my "Overload" (which will, seriously, put me into overload, but...). And the reason "Overload" is so huge is because the first two parts are supposed to be simultaneous- one is Al's story in Amestris, the other is Ed in our world, and then the third part is when they find each other again and it's just...insane. And I want to write both stories and I'm getting nowhere with both of them. Aarg.
But, um...reviews! yes, reviews are always helpful with writer's block. Especially when it's a writer you respect. *nod* because they are usually good reviewers who have something constructive to say! Anou, and that is my not-so-sutble way of asking if you would, um, just take a peek at my story "Darling". Only because reviews will get me away from the RoyEd and back to the wonderful wholesomeness of Elricest! Yes! Save this straying lamb; bring her back to the flock...?
To make a potentially long message short, I would love to look at "Darling." (Anything to bring you back to the flock! ^_~) But would you be a doll and send me a link, please? ^_^; (*sooo lazy am I.... ^_^;;;*)
(PS. ZOMG, I SO know what you mean about "diverted attention." x_X It's not even FUNNY how many fanfics I'm working on/should be working on... *is shot*)
Okay, here's the link to the finished version, at ff.net. I'm also (slowly) editing/adding to the story, and that I've started to post here, up to Chapter Two. Here's the link at ff.net:
