So according to the new LJ method of reminding those that don't use their systems, it's been 16 weeks since I've bored the 1-2 readers with my inadequate words.
Time to bore you again! muwahahahha.
This will not be an update. Cause if you don't know whats going on, then you obviously don't talk to me already =D You wanna know, talk to me damn you*!
So I've heard (haven't been catching up with news lately) that a couple of events have passed. First, Arthur C. Clarke kicked it the other day. God Speed you creator of modern satellite technology. You still lost more money in a weekend then any broker in Wallstreet.
Another tidbit is that it was announced back in Dec (way out of the loop but its ok) that Brandon Sanderson will be writing/finishing the 12th and final novel of the Wheel of Time Epic. Kaoru and I were talking about WoT and Jordan actually when we met up. So, this is to you kaoru, Keep your opinions of this arthur to yourself until the book is published! Last time you bad talked a dude, he died.
Don't do it again...or at least wait on this one k? kthnxbye.
On the brandon sanderson topic, I've actually read over his blog. I like his stuff so far. Will be picking up the first book of his epic trilogy he's writing right now to get more indepth info but from what I've read of the free stuff available on his site, his style flows, his choice of words and descriptions of situations/conflict/scenery are imaginative. His flow of sentances is pretty interesting and I honestly think he has a lot going for him. Thankfully the important parts of AMoL (A Memory of Light) was already written by Jordan (yes the ending is supposedly almost edited quality work) so one can only hope. The draft is due to TOR by December and publication around fall of '09.
On a side note: Serenity is making weird ass noises that I can't completely isolate. I think it's either my video card fan (8800gtx bfg nvidia) or my 10k rpm HD. I think it's the result of the computer exploding on me a couple of weeks ago when I found foreign matter inside my PSU.
For those other pc geeks out there: Should I take out each component and check it over? maybe do a dust/gear check? or start backing up my crap onto my storage drives cause SOMETHINGs going to go soon?
BTW: harddrive Pro says the hd is healthy so...who knows.
Ok enough for now, maybe some insights later if we're slow. Ciao!
*you are the ones that don't talk to me.
