Oh, I like this! A very intriguing beginning. That poor Elric. I hope he'll do okay in the wild. His perspective is interesting, he's a naturally spunky creature who hasn't been rewarded for it at all, and now he'll have to use it to survive.
This community doesn't get a lot of posts, so it's dead in that sense. I'm the same as you: I discovered it a while back, and read everything here. I get an message if anyone posts on it because some of the stories were just so good, and I hold out hope that someday they will be finished.

Thanks! I'm thinking I will update every 3 days, that way there won't be HUGE updates between chapters because I think at some point I might get a bit writing-blocked. I've pretty much got everything sorted out, but I really am no writer n_n'
(Oh, and if you like offering critique, please do! This is a whole new experience)

Yeah. I check back every 6 months or so to read the one or so updates. Then I rediscovered my fanfic...then this account and I was feeling a creative writing urge (which is weird) and here we are.

It's really weird. This comm is just so...addictive! I was hoping with the new FMA episode/show it'd have woken up, but not yet :P

Your updating schedule (and story planning) has my whole-hearted approval. The stories most likely to actually finish, in my experience, and not turn into perpetual WIPs, are either finished before posting or well planned out.

I don't know about critique, but I can offer my opinions, I suppose. Your writing style is just up my alley, so far. You seem to have your spelling and grammar fairly solid, so my ideas will probably be more about characters and...stuff. I don't know yet. (Rereading this entry, I think that "beared his teeth" in the 3rd paragraph should be "bared his teeth"?)

I completely agree about how addictive fma zoofic is. I've read through velvet_mace, sky_dark, and cyrogenia's series at least twice! Do you have favorite authors here?

Why so it is. I shall quickly fix that as Elrics do not normally have bears in their teeth :D
