A Friendly Visit
Rai hadn't seen Ed since he returned to the Nexus, and he figured that his friend/landlord would probably appreciate knowing that he wasn't dead or even seriously maimed. That and he probably should know that the plumbing issue had been taken care of (Rai'd had the presence of mind to get the Infinite Volume Vehicle towed away, and had called the water system maintenance people to get the hole in the pipe repaired and the system flushed of any extra blood, and since the carpet and hallways seemed to magically clean themselves, everything was just peachy.)
So, Ed, here's a Rai a knock-knockin' on your door. His glasses are gone, hair loose, and he seems to have taken a distinct interest in tribal tattooing judging from the band around his forearm, but he's in one piece!
