With Sloth gone, Edward let himself fall back to the floor with a thump. Winry held onto him, letting him sit down slowly so he didn't further injure himself, then sat down next to him, arms around his neck and crying.
Edward was going to let himself catch his breath for a few minutes. He looked over Winry's shoulder at Riza and Jean. "You two okay?" While he was thinking of it, he glanced up at Rai. "Thanks. You came at just the right time."
Oh man.
Ow. There was all the pain in his body that adrenaline had been helping him to ignore. Ow. Holy crap ow.
