Hello

Bonjour me hearties innit, i haven't posted in ages because, well i suck! Well that and also i had a load of time off work sick, and i thought, this is fucking ridiculous and i should just take some annual leave, because that's what it's there for - to get a rest and hopefully not have to take time off sick - and as i'm always whingeing, i don't have a computer of my own. But i'm stealthily using my housemate's slightly knackered mac (buttons keep sticking, but hey, maybe i can talk him into buying a new one for himself, and selling me the old one... oh i'm such a self-serving fuckster) - actually it's not stealthy at all, i've never been very good at stealth.

Sorry to those of you that i should've been texting or e-mailing or generally staying in touch with. The usual crap reasons apply, so don't take it personally, i wuv wu all vewwy much. Actually i'm not drunk at all, i'm just writing this way because i'm a twat, and a bit knackod and in witter-mode. Also am Wrong and Must Be Stopped, but that's something i go on about way too much and i'm sure you're almost as sick (ho!) of it as i am.

I have vaguely thought about this for a while, an idea that Laura laura_wolf had a while ago, but decided against doing due to being too busy to organise it. So i'm going to organise it: a women's football team. Actually, that is misleading. It is not exclusively for women. It's for boys, grrrls, both/neither, trans either way - the reason i called it a women's footie team is because i reckon it'd be fun to semi-support my local women's footie team too (Millwall Lionesses LFC) and go to matches if it's not too expensive. I've never been to a football match, so i've no idea if it'll be fun or utter shite. There's only one way to find out.

Anyway, the point of this footie team is that it'll be an anarchist, non-hierarchical, radical footie team for anyone - be you the sort who is very fit or very unfit, shit at sport, got picked last at school, also for people who are good at sport who wouldn't mind taking a slight teaching role, for chubsters and queers and everything in between (i just like the words "chubster" and "queer", you don't have to be either) to have fun, kick a ball around, learn how to play, maybe get a bit fitter, but more importantly to fuck off down the pub afterwards to get pissed and have a curry.

Anyone interested?

I also want to go on a walking holiday, though i've yet to find any guided ones for this year. I suppose it's out of season now. I was looking for vegan walking holidays with a guide, on that there Google. Maybe i am the only one daft enough to think that walking 20 miles a day, eating wholesome vegan food and sleeping in a dormitory bunkbed, sounds like ace fun; and no, i don't have anything against the kind of middle-aged hippies who'd probably go on these sorts of holidays, why would i, as far as i know i am not a judgmental git (i hope, please correct me if i'm wrong) - but if anyone else is interested, maybe half a dozen of us could get together and go on one of these self-guided ones, as i'm sure they run all year round. Cheaper this time of year too, for things like accommodation. Yes, it's nearly November, but since when did a human being dissolve in the rain? That's what God invented cagoules for. I don't trust myself to go on a self-guided thing by myself, as i'll probably end up Doing The Crazy, but if there are a few of us, or if i can find a guided, very structured one to go on by myself... well, would you be interested in one of these, perhaps a coast-to-coast walk or something?

I am going to try to go to this radical choir i mentioned a while back tomorrow, then working late on Friday, then Anarchist Bookfair on Saturday followed by playing crapgig at the Ivy House - oh i know i shouldn't keep whingeing about playing this gig, it's just been such a faff-around and i'm convinced it's going to be shite - and hopefully, if i'm not dead by this point, to a mate's fancy-dress-optional party, where i shall no doubt fall asleep in a corner after half a glass of wine, rock'n'roll...
