25) Kill Bill Vol 1. (5 stars DVD)-This movie is straight up unadulterated masturbatory fodder for martial art movie aficionados as well as Tarrantino fanatics. It is hard not to enjoy this fun film. A classic piece of action cinema that belongs in the ranks of the original RoboCop, Terminator 2 Judgement Day, and Rambo.
On a related note: Tomorrow is the last day Grindhouse will be playing at any theater in Manhattan. I would suggest anyone in the tri-state area who has not seen (or wants to see it again) it to do so. Not only will you be watching a film that will lose much of its charm on dvd, but you will also be supporting a historic independent movie theater.
