I loved the transitions between "special moments" and the teasing and banter, back and forth. So, so, so, so sweet. I'm glad they talked, and I think it was a good amount of talking. It's late and they're exhausted ;), but some things did need to be said. More will come later.

Also: "You should always assume."

TLG, I completely agree. This scene needs to be acknowledged, written and remembered. After that emotional rollercoaster of a day, this was a fitting end to (hopefully) the beginning of a more open and honest relationship between Callie and Az.

You captured it all in a perfect snapshot: fear, anxiety, hope. Even the light banter and the seemingly irreverent but totally adorable and very Callie-like response to the famous Arizona-esque speech/declarations was a joy to read. I could totally picture them exchanging THAT conversation in bed after this almost-freak-out moment. :)

Much love for this fic. Thank you for writing this scene magnificently. In my C/A world, this is canon. And you, my dear, are 10 shades of amazing! :)
