Okie.
So. Last night I had my Performance Studio class (college level by-audition class I'm taking @ the Village Theatre for people who are STUPID and don't know what I'm TALKING about =PPPP) and we're working on this uber awesome dance to One Short Day from *the* best musical on Broadway right now, WICKED.
It's very cool and sharp and fast and I love it. But after probably about three hours of work combined for the two classes I'm learning it in, we've only got about the first four counts of eight done. It's a complicated dance, but I don't think we're ever going to finish it. xD And it's a rather long song, too.
But anyways, back to the original intent of my post.
Our guest artist (we have one almost every week) was the choreographer of the piece. He's done stuff on Broadway and acted in National Tours and stuff. And he was in the Original German Cast for Smokey Joe's Cafe as this Elvis-type character. He doesn't speak a word of German either, so he was telling us about how he had to learn to say/sing zillions of things and he had no idea what he was saying at the time.
Randomly throughout the class, he would burst out in German song and it greatly amused us.
