(no subject)
Seem to have been really busy this week. Work's been good (if a bit hectic) and I really love doing home education with Ethan. I get so many opportunities to play hehehe This week's highlights have included making tornadoes in jars (complete with glitter and plastic dinosaurs) and spending yesterday at the beach: collecting stones, shells and seaweed and mermaid's purses and making sand sculptures (see mermaid user pic). We did do some workbooks in the morning and watched Ethan's favourite Discovery Kids programme (Gross) to learn more about the science of burping and farting LOL
We're having a quiet weekend in (well, as quiet as it gets with Ethan's best friend Aaron staying tonight) and have started decorating the spare room.
My new coat came today. It's full length and fluorescent pink monster fur....don't you just love ebay!!!!! I went upstairs to ask E what he thought. He raised an eyebrow and said " I'll ask yoda". Well, talking yoda has never liked me and when E asked "Do you like Sarah's new coat?" Yoda replied " A simple answer do I have, No". So E said "I have to agree with Yoda" hehehe. I left the room muttering ..."what does Yoda know about fashion...look at the rags he's wearing....wise my a**e!!!" Then E's friend turned up and said "Wow, you look like a big pink snowbeast" I pointed him towards E's room and the ps2 and decided if I didn't let him say anything else, I COULD take it as a compliment. The coat is safely hung up on the outside of the wardrobe door as I'm not sure if it will fight with the other clothes in the wardrobe :-)
