GOD, even though Thomas had just met Blinded Soldier Guy I was rooting, ROOTING for them. Yes, he was just introduced this episode, and yes, of course there will be no happy endings for gay men in WWI England (and yes the guy probably wasn't even gay), but the way that Thomas was sitting in the store room, just SOBBING.....
