NORTHWARD BOUND!
HOLLER! I'm heading to a cabin in a couple of hours, beestings! I got MOST of the stuff done that I wanted to do (Laramie's cake is going to have to wait until Sunday, as the butter wasn't softening fast enough) before the trip, and now I just have to clean a little bit and then it will be three days of bumming around a lake, drinking wine and reading. Color me excited. I will see if I can update at all from up there, I've done it before it just depends on if Zack or Erik are willing to let me use their laptops (though I'm considering bringing mine so I can write while up there....). Either way, I will be on SPARINGLY, as I like taking a vacay from the facebook and the email as well. There will be pictures, however. Eventually.
So before I head out, I have to finish that fanfic meme that I was not to up to date with throughout the month.
29 - What is your current project or projects?
Ugh, FML, I have so many and I'm kind of drowning in them. They are as follows:
- GHOST IN YOU (though this one is starting to wind down, a final confrontation on the horizon, etc).
- The Kink Bingo stuff, which I haven't even STARTED because I've been so preoccupied with GIY and trying to get that completed.
- LIVING DEAD GIRL, the Spike/Faith fiction that I haven't updated in MONTHS and Kevin is probably getting quite irked or disinterested.
- A crossover fic between THAT 70S SHOW and BIG LOVE in which Jackie and Alby become besties. Only have an outline for that still.
Once Tut ends and I join the ranks of the pretty much unemployed, I'll have time to finish all this stuff.

This is one of those Nick/Ellis fics that started out wanting to just be smut but then evolved into something else entirely. It sort of turned into a exploration of their relationship with the age difference and the insecurities we all know Nick has. And there is, of course, smut as well. Hooray!

This is a cracky fic I wrote where I crossed over Spike from BUFFY and stuck him in the 70S SHOW universe. If only because he and Jackie would make the perfect couple, in my mind. At it's heart it's Jackie/Hyde, but Spike gets a little bit of play as well.

This is the story zenkindoflove and I wrote together. I consider this one of my favorites I've written because not only did we work together really well and brainstorm off each other's ideas, I had a HELL of a fun time writing it with her. Plus, who doesn't love Jason Voorhees obsessing over everyone's favorite brunette cheerleader?

I am so incredibly proud of this story. It's novel's length, I feel like it's some of the best pacing I've done with a fic, and it's one of those fics that has just kept giving ideas and hasn't frustrated me, like others have. And honestly, this is probably going to be my opus for the Nellis fandom. And this fandom means a lot to me because like the 70S SHOW fandom I've found a true friend within in that has extended beyond the smut and slash. nekocrouton , we'll share beauty tips and take that cab ride in Sweden yet!
Okay. I need to pack and clean and stuff before heading to Wisconsin! Be back occasionally!
