6 - When you write, do you prefer writing male or female characters?
You know, it really depends on which fandom I'm writing in. In fandoms like T7S and BUFFY I like writing predominantly women (Jackie, Faith, Illyria) with a couple exceptions (Spiiiike). But in other ones like L4D2 and WATCHMEN I like writing guys (Nick, Ellis, Rorschach). You know, it obviously depends on whether or not I'm writing slash or het couples. I think that realistically I'm better at capturing the female voice since I'm, you know, a girl. But as long as I know a character well enough I think I can write for them regardless of gender.
