may 31. Happy Memorial day! My store isn't allowed to open until 1pm today due to a town ordinance. The amount of morons waiting from 8am to shop was unbelievable. And when the doors opened, people (at least 100) came running in to shop. I have to say that people who wake up early Sunday to be at the bullseye at 8am have no life. I understand wanting to shop early.. but holy shit. Then there's the ones that don't understand that at 10pm when the lights go out and there's been 30 minutes of announcements warning them... the store is closed and they will be escorted out. "just one more thing".. fucktard. One of these days I will post my stories from the bullseye highlighting some of the more entertaining encounters. Anyway, now going behind a cut for health related thingies!
So my back is better. Still some minor spasms but its more like regular my disc is screwed up pain rather than OMG i'll never move again pain. I'm glad I went about my normal day. Last time I had an issue (sciatica) I was unable to put any weight on my left leg. THAT was scary. I had to call out of work and literally hopped to find my phone - That was back in February (when I wasn't documenting bad me). It took almost 2 days for me to feel confident enough to remain standing. The night before that happened I had pulled a muscle lifting something out of the back of my car - no major pain until I tried to stand up in the morning. Weird.
ok so todays health event~~~~~~ I came home from work, ate my meal, relaxed, watched tv - (have to wait 30 minutes after eating to do anything including drink liquids) and then went out to play in the dirt (garden). Was filling my planters with dirt (I mix it with different things) and realized I was thirsty. Thats bad. I'm supposed to constantly sip liquids. SIP. Not gulp. SIP. So I figured I'd better get a drink. I was incredibly thirsty and did not remember the sip rule. Finished a whole 16 ounce cup of sugar free whatever I had quickly (like a normal stomached person), and again, forgetting "pouch rules" went right back outside to continue mixing dirt. That meant bending down. Due to not sipping, I needed to obey the 30 minute rule.. which I wasn't thinking about. It took about 10 minutes for the cold sweat, dizzy horrible dumping about to happen feeling to hit. the gulping it part meant it just was stuck in my pouch overwhelming it. The bending part meant it wasn't going to obey the laws of physics and go down. So up and out it had to go. That did it for today's gardening! Thankfully there are no bad aftereffects. But I must remember to mind my pouch rules - here on this memorial day.
