OMG TODAY i came across a concept that is amazing to my mind.
So. MOVING. We do it all the time. Here's why it's impossible. ;D
1) Movement requires traversing the distance between A and B.
/A/------------------------/B/
2) Moving from A to B requires at some point going half the distance between A and B. Say, at C.
/A/-----------/C/-------------/B/
3) Moving from A to C requires at some point going half the distance between A and C. Say, D.
/A/-----/D/-----/C/-------------/B/
ETC...
But if Space is infinitely divisible, then you should be able to have an infinite amount of divisions between point A and point B. And if it follows that moving from one point to another requires at some point going half the distance, and if there are infinite divisions between A and B, then it follows that there should be an infinite amount of movement you should have to go through IN ORDER to get from point A to point B.
THEREFORE, we should never be able to get anywhere.
AND YET WE DO. :O
How can this be?
