What's going on?
There's just not much going on, which I suppose is a good thing. Rachel and I seem to have caught colds, though it at least doesn't seem to be trying to turn into a flu.
We've washed lots of Rachel Bedding in the last week. I went so far as to get a couple new pair of jammies too, after realizing just how many of hers were 18M-2T. Those small ones are being culled as they come out of the washer, and the really small ones just plain removed. She's made it through the night the last two nights though, which ties her personal best. If she's dry again tomorrow morning, she'll set a new record. (Anyone need about 30 2T-3T pullups?)
Ryan has been being Mr. Good Boy this week most of the time, in contrast to Rachel being the crabmeister. I think she's been skipping naps at school like she tries to on the weekend, and it results in a very grouchy Rachel very quickly once we reach home.
I tried to get a good picture of the eclipse, but heavy cloud cover hid it for most of the show. It peeked out between clouds some, so I at least saw it, but by the time I could get the camera on it, it was sliding behind clouds again. Best picture I was able to achieve was a very blurry red blob.
We've been watching American Idol again. Haven't really developed any clear favorites yet - though I think the homeless kid from Atlanta was better than some of the ones they put into the top 24. We'll just see how it goes.
