one life dream realized
I haven't been posting much anywhere recently. Things are just so busy that I don't want to look at a computer much when I have some downtime.
However, I have to put in one brief, but important post about something that happened yesterday.
Just a couple weeks ago I happened to see an article in the online Ottawa Citizen (a very short one) saying that Pete Seeger was coming to town on July 9th. Somehow I managed to get 4 tickets (the auditorium at Library and Archives only seats 400 at most) for me, Paul, mom and dad. And last night I finally saw Pete Seeger in concert, after listening to him, well, all my life. I wish I could have met him, but they weren't sticking around long after the concert because they were driving to Vermont almost immediately after (plus they had to let an 89 year old man get some rest - had they not taken him to a private room he would have been swamped for hours, I'm sure).
