Reading habits

Recently, I've had several conversations about different reading habits. Apparently, my way of selecting and reading books is not normal. Before Amazon, my way of finding new books was to wander along the shelves and look at covers. That's one reason I didn't like going to the library: all they show is the spine. (The other reason being that I almost always re-read books, so prefer to own them.) I'm told that most people can just go to the library and find a book randomly. Even when looking for books for Meeple I have to know what I'm going to get because there are a bazillion children's book, and I'd have no idea how to select one.

The other way that I'm weird, apparently, is that I only read one book at a time. Even if I get a book I'm more interested in than the one I'm currently reading, I'll finish the one first. But I've been told "everyone" reads more than one at a time. Heck, even Meeple does. He is currently reading one Geronimo Stilton, one Boxcar Children, and one Blast to the Past.

So, am I the only one who can't browse and can only do one book at a time?
