My good deed for the day
My company periodically sponsors blood drives. Being a wimp who is afraid of needles, I never participated. I finally decided that was a pretty lame excuse, and signed up for today's blood drive. And it wasn't that bad. It did sting a little, and my forearm started to ache towards the end. But no adverse reactions. And hey, I now have a lovely yellow stain on my arm, a bag of mini chips ahoy (I snacked on pretzels after, and snagged a bag of cookies for later), and an impatiens sitting on my desk. What more can you ask for?
