asked why electronic devices die in the middle of the night. Once again, we were struck by this nefarious conspiracy. Last night around 11pm, BLEEP! BLEEP! BLEEP! a smoke alarm goes off. As Shiny pointed out, it is impossible to determine which one is bleeping. 5 minutes later, BLEEP! BLEEP!.
word_geek randomly changes 2 batteries upstairs and one in the basement (leaving about 6 unchanged). And happily, that worked.
Yesterday, it was announced that
a full moon does not affect surgery outcomes. If they can do a study on that, I think surely there must be a market for studying exactly why electronic devices die at night. It wasn't a full moon, so we can't blame the poor moon on that, either.
