Deck the halls

Well, not so much the halls. Ever since moving into our house, we've gotten our Christmas tree from this place just down the road. They have reasonable prices (at least, I assume they do since we don't actually shop around) and they deliver and setup. That used to be free, but now it is $5. We have a cathedral ceiling in our family room, so we like to get nice tall trees. Unfortunately, everyone in our community has a cathedral ceiling and they like tall trees, too. Since we don't like to get our tree too early so it won't die by Christmas, the tree place is often out of the really tall trees by the time we go. Last year we realized that although we don't get our tree until closer to the Christmas, the tree place gets all of their trees the day after Thanksgiving. So we had the brilliant idea this year of buying the tree early, but then not getting it delivered until closer to Christmas.

So last night we went shopping, and in typical fashion, we found a very nice 8.5'+ tree in about 5 minutes. I still think there's something wrong with finding a nice tree in 5 minutes, but WG thinks I'm crazy.
