Okay, so four months ago I bought this gorgeous grey-blue stone that has all the flash of labradorite but without the ridiculous prices of it. This is something that is a bit of a break from my ordinary work. They’re lovely little green glass leaves spaced between a mixture of wood and goldstone. The sparkle of the goldstone mixed with the earthiness of the wood color scheme makes the green leave just kind of pop. Price: 12.00 Length: 17 1/2 inches
Going with the more natural materials theme is this necklace. Carved bone and wood focal beads are spaced with white wood and little disks to give this piece a sort of tribal feel to it. Price: 10.00 Length: 17 inches
This one was another lark of mine. I loved the disk with the mirror-like metal inlay so I bought it on a whim and came up with this necklace. It’s corrugated metal beads in three different sizes and spaced with some beautiful blue goldstone beads. Price: 10.00 Length: 20 inches
So I love glasswork. This is a beautiful blue lampwork pendant with what I would almost say dichroic golds and bronzes inlaid into the glass. The pictures really don’t do it justice. I love the mixture of the azure crackle beads mixed with the small copper rounds and the matte wood beads just kind of tie it all together. This is actually a set and comes with a bracelet and earrings. Somehow I forgot to take a picture of the earrings last night so I’m going to fix that tonight when I get home!
