My fingers hurt still

I finally finished the choker I'd been working on last night. Took close to 7 hours but I got it done! I'm seriously <3ing this stich but restraining myself from going out and buying a lot of swarovskis and playing around with bead weaving. Gotta save for BotCon. >.> I think I'm gonna put this up on Etsy along with the other blue swarovski bracelet ( Read more... )

I'LL BUY ONE

No seriously, that is /awesome/.

You make me wish I were into doing this myself-- there's a HUGE beading supply store here that sells truly gorgeous things. Oh, if only!

*grin* Well the choker is up Here and I can make you something else if you have a color choice you'd rather have like green gems and copper.

And thank you! I'm having a lot of fun with this stitch and don't tell me that. T_T I miss Houston and it's plethora of bead stores. The place I went to for my classes are kinda pricy but the ladies who run it are really nice. And that other beading store has the cheap swarovski crystals is like a 20 minute drive. So not TOO bad I suppose.

Green and copper? DUDE. That sounds even more awesome. Dark turquoise-y green and copper/gold colors.... :D~ Don't give me too many choices, I might not be able to decide! I don't have pierced ears though, so no complimentary earrings are necessary... ;)

Well, I don't have any turquoise-y beads on hand at the moment but they're easily enough procured. And awwww on the earrings though I could prolly whip up a bracelet to match if needs be. Been lazy this week writing and I haven't gotten around to making the matching bracelet for the choker yet. XP

Haha, by all means don't rush the writing yourself! I could even do some bead-hunting here and send a few extra packs your way, depending on what you'd need. and a matching bracelet would totally rule. Turquoise/dark teal is one of my best colors, so it's hard to resist the thought of such sparkly goodness....

Well, goldstone only comes in blue and gold though there is a rare green color but it's an emerald green color. But Swarvoski does make an Blue Zircon and a Indicolite Colors. Though if you were you were to go with the Swarvoski, I'd recommend a lighter blue-green color instead of gold. Though to be honest, I'd have to decide when I actually have the colors in my hand. They make a glass pearl but the closest color I could find was Tahitian. So eh.
