oh wow! I have to tell you, I'm having the opposite problem-completely. I graduated with a BA in Communications/Political Science in 2003. Somehow, 10 years went by while I was working and thinking about whether I would do my master's. Well, I'm turning 35 this year, and having (only) a BA is just a waste of a life! lol

So, I'm finally applying for a Master's program. :) A Master of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership program to be precise. After suffering a stroke last year (and losing precious brain cells) I realize NOW is the time.

tl;dr - sometimes it just takes a while for you to figure it out. ;) Graduate school or no graduate school - it's a big decision. I can't tell you whether you're making a wise choice or not.I can tell you that becoming involved with fandom has changed my life in many incredible, wonderful ways I would never trade in for anything in the world.

I don't know you that well, but as long as you trust yourself (and listen to yourself), you'll make the right choice. :3

thanks muchly for your comment, bb. your advice is sound and appreciate it <3 best of luck going back to school for your degree! I definitely think a Master's is a worthwhile degree to have. Am not sure I would recommend anyone go for a PhD in this job market, but that could be the burnout talking.

I don't know what kind of PhD I would even get for non-profit work! I think a master's is more than enough for me. I can't really see myself teaching (since I'm painfully shy). :P All the best in your decision-making process! <333
