Good news - there are actually some flights leaving Belfast in October. Looks like I will be able to get to see Alexis after all. *does the dance of fannish (geek) joy

Yes, nods vigourously. Can so imagine this happening - Dean being the one that tips the balance. And in his desire to protect Sam he will eventually lose him. And your dialogue between John and Dean is so spot on. Poor Dean, he's always had to work for this family and he never gets what he wants from Sam or John. Wonderful story.
Thanks. Yes, I really felt the joy in this keenly *g*. Dean's really caught in the middle here - he knows that he's making a mistake, but he can't help looking out for Sam.
Oh! *squee* Eloise fic! On the level of smutty-minded visuals, this is just wonderful. Workout porn! *loves* On the other level, the one with all those angsting men crammed into a house together and Dean trying to hold everything steady, it's also wonderful, but so sad. It's like Dean knows he's playing a losing game, but he has no choice but to do his best. Poor boy.
Thank you! It's quite tricky to write workout porn without it being too slashy - so I hope it worked. I do like the image of a house crammed with angsty men. Poor Dean is stuck between a rock and hard place in this - I'm not sure whether John's the rock or the hard place, but you get the idea.
Great job! I think this really sums up Dean's life as the middle man between Sam and John. He always has to smooth things over while making sure that neither one ends up hating him for it. You did a wonderful job. ^_^
Thanks! I think Dean is very much caught in the middle between two very similar personalities. He's constantly trying to make things right, although deep down he knows he's not going to be able to do it forever.
