So yeah. I officially have a cold. I fought it off for a few days, but I suppose, in the end, one cannot escape destiny! But hopefully it won't last long. I fully intend to DROWN this cold with Thera-flu and children's Dymatap. Or however you spell it. You know, the yummy tasting purple grapey medicine? Yeah. That stuff.
ANYWAY!
So I went shopping for my buddy's birthday party today, right? And I end up spending money on MYSELF. I mean, I buy him a unit of Dwarf Rangers to start his army, and some primer...and I bought myself...A LIZARDMEN ARMY BOOK! WOO! So I'm happy. Now I can finally work out my army.
I'm thinking a 2nd Generation Slann, with the 'Protection of the Old One's' Plaque would be nice. 2+ Ward save, to protect my guy from CANNONS. I hate cannons. Maybe also the 'Rod of the Storm' to give him some last-ditch-emergency-use MISSILE Magic power. Either that or the 'Diadem of Power' to further strengthen him in the Magic phase. OH! And, of course, the 'Sun Standard of Chotec.' With this, missiles fired at my boy are at -1 to hit! HAHA! Martinez and Jeff! You crazy artillery players you!!! JUST TRY AND TAKE HIM DOWN NOW!!! Oh!
And did I mention the TEMPLE GUARD?!?! But yeah. Seriously. If I spent that much money on the Slann, I PROBABLY won't take a unit of Temple Guard...unless it's like a 5000+ point battle...so anyway. It'll be MAGIC HEAVY. I want to POUND my foes with the POWER OF THE OLD ONES!
So anyway. Jeff's party is tomorrow. PAINTBALL ALL DAY LONG! WOO! I can't wait. It'll be awesome. Almost time to deal red, messy, splatting DEATH!!! Fear me. Yeah. That's it...fear me...yah.
And I need more passport-sized IDs. Three more. Oh yeah. And I need more cheese. Yeah. Plenty more.
