Guess who's pissed about not being able to follow the Cannes Festival this year? Yep, that would be me.
I've just seen the lineup and there are some interesting stuff.
Guess who's going to Cannes for the 8th time in 10 years? Gael Garcia Bernal! I think he should just buy a house there, lol. Alejandro Gonzales Inarritu is in the main competition with the movie "Biutiful" starring Javier Bardem. (And, of course, produced by Cuaron and Del Toro.) And Diego Luna is showing his directorial debut "Abel" (Just like Gael did in 2007 with "Deficit". Awww)
The opening movie is Ridley Scott's "Robin Hood" starring Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett, with also Scott Grimes.
I won't be able to see any of it, (damn it!) and that makes me angry and disappointed at the same time. :(
The conflicting feeling here is that I also think it's awesome that they're all going. Yay Cannes!
