It is no surprise that I have been struggling with my self-image problems, which has happened since recently. Compared by others to my mum, who is lovely to look at, I feel worse. People have commented how I am no where like her, she is prettier and nicer etc. Of course I do not grudge my mum this, I just personally feel bad and over the years so ( Read more... )

Hahaha I guess sometimes we should just let a magic memory suffice! Anyways it would never work, he asked my name and seeing I am of a different religion disappointed him. India may be a secular etc etc state diplomatically and on paper, its still a long way, a very long way, from its people becoming secular :)

If you're not willing to change that, it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Besides, who says it has to be long-term? If you two liked each other for a meeting, maybe it would work for a meal. Or a day. Or a week.

But you'll never know until you try.

Yes true enough but I have totally given up trying to change anyone, because it never works. Religion is too sensitive an issue out here. And besides, the fair is over and he is long gone

Don't try to change anything. Just take some initiative, and pursue what you really want in your heart. Would it be so wrong to pick up a phone and call him?

He could always say no. He could also say yes.
