Toh Hamari Baat Pakki Hai
This is another silly program which apparently draws a large number of viewers. Yesterday we had late dinner and unfortunately the time coincided with this program and my mum immediately began watching it. I have no clue about the story line (if such a thing exists) because I rarely prefer television and especially not such stuff! Anyways there was some whole elaborate sequence of the protagonist mouthing a song while some woman in some dress was trying to seduce him, all this while his family members were watching from somewhere close-by to see what his response would be (please don't ask me why they were doing that!!).
In the end of that painful sequence the woman trying to seduce him whispers something in his ear and flashes a report saying the truth is in there. The guy turns white saying she can say whatever he wants but no medical report can prove he is gay because he isn't! I was so furious!! Prime time tv promoting the view that being gay can be concluded medically, which then implies its a medical condition. It was so utterly stupid. Meh, goes to show you can't fight prime time television!!
