Cars, bikes & Ewan McGregor!
Wow, Ewan McGregor is so hot! Grin - yep, saw "Guys & Dolls" again this weekend. It's an absolutely amazing production - the choreography especially is so slick! And the scene where Sky dances with the woman in the red dress in Havana is fab :)
Anyways, after a night in London on Friday, we nipped back to Oxford on Sat in time to catch the end of the Birkett at Silverstone. And I had my first ever motorbike ride! One of the team's supporters (I'm not actually sure who he was...) had a bike, and drove me round from the pits to the stands, so I could time dad while he was out. Can't remember what kind of bike it was... but it was big, and pretty! I was kinda nervous, coz the only handles were behind my seat - I was totally convinced I was gonna topple right over backwards when he accelerated! But he didn't want me to hold on to him, so it was handles or nothing...
I have to say, I was quite surprised - he did take it gently, since it was my first time, but I didn't think I was gonna topple once. Corners and so weird though! He made me promise not to try to turn the bike with him, but does that mean I shouldn't lean with the bike when it turns, or that I shouldn't try to lean further...? Anyway, it was well weird - I was so sure I could just reach out and touch the road! They do get quite an angle on those corners...
